Barbara Minerva, also known as Cheetah, is a DC character who gained prominence within the DC Extended Universe through her appearance in the movie Wonder Woman 1984.
In Wonder Woman 1984, Dr. Barbara Minerva is portrayed as a gemologist and archaeologist working at the Smithsonian Museum, initially presented as an insecure and clumsy individual. Her desire to be like Wonder Woman leads her to make a wish on the Dreamstone, unintentionally granting herself superhuman abilities but also starting a transformation into the Cheetah.
